Who is responsible for this country experiencing a steady decline in morality as well as the unmooring from the United States Constitution?  The list of potential suspects is much too large to be completely covered here but many will argue that there has been a slow deterioration of the country’s basic principals starting back to 1913 when the Federal Reserve was established, however focusing on more recent events one could argue that former President Bill Clinton started the financial ball rolling downhill when he signed a piece of legislation into law which repealed many protective aspects of the Glass–Steagall Act of 1933 which ultimately led to the bursting of the housing bubble. Former President George W. Bush is also a candidate since he added to the fiscal disaster by spending almost twice as much as President Clinton. Bush also catapulted this country into a costly war both in terms of finance and precious lives lost by lying to the American people.  

Media to blame?

There are also those that lay the blame squarely at the feet of the media as well as the average citizen who seems disconnected from politics as well as other significantly important topics. However the media might not be able to accept any of the blame because there simply isn’t any real media to blame. What Americans identify as the media is a new entity entirely that creates and shapes the news instead of reporting it. Someone recently said if an American wants local news he can trust, he has to buy his newspaper in Europe. 

That being said, the evidence against President Obama contributing to the decline of America is simply breathtaking. Obama has surpassed all expectations regarding dismantling the Constitution and dividing this country to where one feels like the country has time-traveled back to the racially divided, segregated south of the 1950’s and 60’s. But the most illustrious jewel in Obama’s corrupt crown is not the unbelievable number of scandals or the fact that under his watch, two heads of once respected and trusted institutions of government were held in contempt by congress but rather it is his signature plan; the slowly unfolding and predictably calamitous debacle known as ObamaCare.

But even as ObamaCare courses through the veins of America’s healthcare system destroying lives, causing millions of Americans to lose their health insurance as well as the care from their doctors, Obama is at the center of the next potential disaster. 

Amnesty by Executive Order

Amnesty by executive order is the final action that brings America face to face with the reality that America has become what the Founding Fathers feared most, which was a dictatorship.

And make no mistake; it will be a dictatorship not just because the office of the President can do what it wants whenever it wants but because Congress, by allowing amnesty by executive order to happen exposes the truth for all the country to see; that it does not represent the people. That although according to the recent election exit polls a whopping 75% of Americans do not want amnesty, Congress embraced it and blatantly disregarded the will of the people they are supposed to represent.

Dumbing Down Conditioning

Which brings us back to the original question as to who is responsible for this country experiencing a steady decline? Perhaps it is accurate to state that the American people have become lazy and ignorant through a steady diet of dumbing down conditioning. Although the Presidential election of 2012 witnessed the incredibly confusing re-election of Obama, the trouncing of the Democrats in the 2014 midterm election was a strong indication that the country had learned a lesson that elections matter a great deal. A lesson they acted upon and gave the Republicans eight seats and the majority in the Senate and twelve additional seats in the House thus increasing the already held majority. 

So, better late than never, the American people responded and made clear that they wanted the liberal direction of this country changed. 

Any politically savvy politician could clearly read the tea leaves on this one and forsake any mention of amnesty let alone voting for it. But President Obama is not an ordinary politician; he is a true narcissist capable of destructive behavior as long as it moves his agenda forward. On an intellectual level, he certainly understands the meaning and message behind the lopsided election results that cost many of his supporters their jobs and yet he seems more determined than ever to pass amnesty as if his agenda received a resounding show of support and it was his party that won a landslide victory. 

By their votes, the American citizen rose up in legal opposition to threats against their freedom and liberty and it is now the duty of those newly elected officials to do what the President seemingly will not do and put an end to any form of amnesty.  The challenge that now faces this nation is what do Americans do if both the President and Congress ignore their clear desires?
