The Glendale/Middle Village Coalition, formed to halt the Cooper Ave homeless shelter, received some good news in late July. The NYC Department of Buildings revoked the permits for the building after a legal challenge filed by the coalition revealed problems with their submitted floor plans among other issues. This may hold up their plans for months or longer. The coalition was co-founded by the Juniper Park Civic Association.
