Maspeth is currently undergoing a $101 million sewer project which started in September and will continue through August 2023. The work will consist of replacing water mains and combined sewers along 69th Street from Queens Boulevard to 48th Avenue, and down 70th Street to the Long Island Expressway. In addition to the mains and sewers, 10 new sewer manholes and 20 new fire hydrants will be installed.
