I'm amazed by how many people actually voted for Pogozelski... I mean, really??

More than half of the voters didn't rank a second person?? Ranked Choice is not complicated people

Now we do the same for sliwa

Congratulations. Phil Wong.

Illegal NYC car meetups feature strippers, drugs and ear-splitting speaker systems driving residents nuts

Imagine middle village looking like Queens Blvd

I bet everyone saying there's no housing shortage are long time home owners. In the old days you used to budget 1/3 of your income for housing. Today it's well over 1/2 for new home owners and renters.

There is an affordable housing shortage. Wise rezoning and building near public transportation makes sense. As much as we'd like to hold onto the past Queens is no longer the suburbs.

Mike Quigley

How can you build new housing without zoning laws being changed? Most people don't want the Eliot Avenue stop. Grand Avenue is in Elmhurst. Metropolitan Avenue is next to a school, cemetery, and a mall.

Do we really need this?

Housing boom will never follow… it never does especially in MV. We have less people than we did in the 70’s in NYC by about a million plus and 750K more housing units than we had back then. The population keeps shrinking and middle class families along with wealthy upper class and billionaire investors are moving out in droves and accelerating the process. It doesn’t make any sense, we don’t have a housing shortage, it’s total BS. Additionally I don’t need Zohran coming to visit me from East New York or Flatbush… not necessary and not welcome. Hey Zohran Kwame Mamdani learn how to spell Middle Village. That’s M I D D L E V I L L A G E because you’ll never see it in your life time.

Great! Now they have to redo all of the subway maps again!!

Still a mess - nonetheless.

It's about time. Service should be quicker. The E and M trains will not have to wait for each other to switch tracks at Queens Plaza.
