Silver Barn Farms, a beloved fixture in our community since 1969 is getting a makeover. Workers have built the framework for the new facade that will resemble a real barn. Owner Abe Gabor told us that the structure will look a lot more like a real barn and will really be an upgrade over the existing building. The big question… will the siding of the barn be silver? The answer so far is no, it will be red. So then how can it be called “Silver Barn?” Abe said that they would probably have silver trim and retain the silver silo. It just wouldn’t be the same calling it “Red Barn Farms.”
