On Christmas Eve morning, a passerby noticed that a caged guinea pig had been dumped in an alley on Eliot Avenue next to a barber shop. It was posted to Facebook and Ally Smith from Glendale rescued the poor animal just in time for Christmas. Originally named Winky by the loser who dumped him, the guinea pig was renamed Noel Eliot after the season and where he was found. Originally malnourished, Noel got the care he needed and is now thriving. While the person who dumped him is not only dumb but disgusting, Noel ended up in the right hands, so this story has a happy ending.
