As of July 31st, we're now in phase 3, the final stage, of construction on the Metropolitan Avenue-Fresh Pond Road LIRR bridge.
• The work zone is now on the CVS side of Fresh Pond Road with one lane for northbound traffic and one lane for southbound traffic.
• Variable Message Boards will be updated to alert the public.
• Please check signs for turn restrictions.
• The work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled as necessary.
The project is expected to wrap up by Thanksgiving.
