At 11:40pm on January 10, firefighters responded to a call about high carbon monoxide readings due to a faulty boiler at 54-17 Andrews Ave. in Maspeth. Eight residents were transported to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, with two listed in critical condition, one in serious condition, and 5 with non-life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, we do not have an update on their statuses. Please make sure your CO detectors are in working condition!
