Around 1980, Lorraine Sciulli began her affiliation with JPCA, and by 1990 had become active full-time. In addition to serving as first vice president, she also served as editor and advertising manager for the Juniper Berry and was chair of the membership committee. In short, no matter what JPCA was doing, she was always involved in it. She also served for many years on Queens Community Board 5. Her energy and dedication were without parallel, and the people of Queens owe a great debt of gratitude to Ms. Sciulli for her many efforts on their behalf. Please join us on Tuesday, December 17 at 10 a.m. at the corner of 77th Street and 62nd Avenue as we celebrate her life and honor her legacy by conaming the street “Lorraine Sciulli Way.”
