The Juniper Juniors are certainly keeping their promise to clean up this town. On Saturday, November 12th, the youth civic group that's part of the Juniper Park Civic Association, led by Len Santoro and Angelo Raneri, were once again improving the Middle Village-Maspeth neighborhoods. This time Gabriella Termine, Joe Termine – her dad, Daniella Leggio, Thomas Crowley, Brian Crowley, Jack Manzo, Michael Azzara,Ted Colter, Eric Tavarone, and Daniel Martini of the Juniper Juniors in less than two hours painted and cleaned the CSX bridge area on Juniper Boulevard South & 69th Place. Just weeks before they painted the bridge area a block away on 69th Street and Juniper Valley Road. “The Juniper Juniors is a great way to teach civic pride in neighborhood and have fun, they are the future leaders of our city and neighborhood,” said Robert Holden, president of the JPCA.
