Patrizia’s has made a name for itself with locations in 4 of the 5 boroughs as well as NJ and LI. The last uncharted territory for them is Queens, and they chose Maspeth for their first location in the borough! A family-owned full-service Italian restaurant is just what Grand Avenue needs.

This new pharmacy is taking the place of a 99-cent store. Maspeth will have one more location where you can get your prescriptions filled and pick up other medical supplies. It’s nice to have options!

Coca-Cola vacated their bottling plant back in April. The site was purchased by Home Depot, which has plans to demolish the plant and construct a retail store there. The site is 7 acres, so there likely will be a lot more businesses sited on the property in the future. We’ll keep you posted.
