The crosswalk to nowhere is in a curious location at the Stop & Shop parking lot on Grand Avenue. Its purpose was to connect the Premier Care medical building (r.) with both handicap and general parking spaces across the street. But, it’s impossible to climb over the high curb there. And the narrow sidewalk it leaves you on is totally blocked by cement columns. Why is it there? All they need to do is cut down the curb and make it level so people (and not mountain goats) can enter the parking lot.
