Yes!! I've read this, they are planning to add so much new housing to our neighborhood

Joyce Rosselli

They want us all to leave this city. That's horrible. It's been happening in Glendale allot.

Disgusting

No No and No! Is this part of the city of yes and Bob Holden why aren’t you in the mayor’s office? Come on now?

Wake up New York let me tell you why this happened (mamdami), INDOCTRINATED COLLEGE TRANSPLANTS! These jerkoffs are the only ones that go out and vote! You lazy self absorbed New Yorkers just sit home and do not vote! By claiming "I do not like anybody so screw it" is a massive problem across the country! This is how things like this happens! Look at the numbers, less then 10% of New Yorkers vote in a city of nearly 9 million! Reep what you sow! GENTRIFICATION IS THE DOWNFALL OF NYC! And crooked politicians love it and cator to them for votes.

What about Amazon they took over the top where Kmart and Toys R us were? And Metro Mall where BJs is under renovation. I read Burlington is going there too.

That lot that is there over the years I heard they wanted to build a bank there at one time but it never happened.

Once upon a time, before Metro Mall was built, it was supposed to be housing projects. We fought, we won, hence it's currently Metro Mall. We all need to stick together and FIGHT!

I fought against this in 1967 , there was still a Western Electric plant standing, demonstrated at NYC city hall, spoke before the city council, they said it would never happen!

If it is to be rezoned why is the place where BJs is being renovated?

Time to leave ny

Sounds like NYCHA housing, the new ghetto Middle Village

Mike Quigley

🤦🏻‍♂️😡🤦🏻‍♂️😡🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m sure we all can’t wait for diversity and multiculturalism to hit a quiet, safe and civilized neighborhood like middle village

This all must be stopped our neighborhood depends on it

Why would you take away stores and shops from the neighborhood to add apartments and people. Where are they supposed to go for food, etc. Also why the hell would yountakw away parking near a train station. You are talking about the busiest, most crowded areas where it is already hard to park. Even homeowners cant park by their own homes. You want to take away stores and parking to add apartment buildings. It has always been a quiet, safe neighborhood and you are taking all of that away and adding to the traffic and crime.

Great! That’s all they need. Stuff more people into the area and ruin it even more

This is happening all over. Developers are now going after manufacturing zones for housing, it then gets a big rubber stamp by City Planning

What a nightmare

Where are the kids going to go to school? Where are these people going to park? The streets will be more congested than they already are. NYC residents are already like sardines in a can.

Oh this is ridiculous! So angry over this!!

Hmmmm ever since Adams became Mayor I have never seen so many buildings go up. Look at the monstrosity they built down Mytrle (Burlington/Target bldg)...

Follow the $$$

No no and no.

This was the plan all along. Rezoning residential areas. It has to be stopped

This is sickening

And don't kid yourself mamdani will be if he wasn't already approached by the developers 1 thing about socialists they like to make money but you can't
