I think the same is true of parks. Yesterday I told a NYC Park Ranger that it doesn't make sense to me to build the new The QueensWay when our current Queens parks are understaffed and underfunded. She sympathized with me and explained that the city focuses on new projects because it's much easier to get federal funds for new projects than to get funding to maintain existing infrastructure. I hope there's a way that we can change that pattern.

More cheap housing for congressional districts

It is all about the kickbacks

There is no common sense in any decisions that are made today. Every politician regardless of party is focused on either reelection or their next campaign, trying to get publicity and attention, and making sure their name is familiar.

They tear up the track at Juniper tooReminder to the NYPD, especially the 104 Precinct: dirt bikes are not street legal, especially when minors are riding them on public streets.

As the weather gets warmer, we’re going to see more of this reckless behavior.

We expect enforcement action, not lectures about safety while illegal dirt bikes continue riding through our neighborhoods.

they're riding them through Juniper Valley Park and their parents buy them the bikes. No surprise that they go on to race cars through the neighborhood. Doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to police this when these kids are racing electric bikes on the running track in the park.

The 104 jajjajajajajaj the criminal in Queens jajajaj. They will be raiding the bike that's why they will do nothing. Specialty officer Lopez on the 104.
