I wish I could understand WHY that measurement isn't going to the front door of PS 73?

How come this does not consider I.S. 73 which is even closer than the school of heroes????

I know I am going to show my age but I remember Quonset huts between Caldwell and Eliot from 69 street to 77 street. Believe they were military housing during WW2.
