In early December, government contractors installed barriers on the westbound LIE service road near Mazeau Street to deter truckers from parking their rigs on the shoulder overnight. This is a great victory for the civic and area elected officials, who have been advocating for a safety fix at this location for more than a decade.

Can we get more details about this attempted car jacking and shooting at juniper last week? Wasn’t reported anywhere except from the man’s mother on other neighborhood Facebook groups
