The photo on the left was taken May 16th at Juniper Valley Park near 80th Street and the right photo was taken May 23rd. Increased number and size of rat holes in a very short period of time is alarming. Residents have been complaining for years that rats are getting more brazen and now are scampering through the park at all hours.

The Juniper Park Civic Association contacted the office of Queens Parks Commissioner Dorothy Lewandowski and her Chief of Staff, Joanne Amagrande, said that the agency will address the issue.
