Our 104th Precinct Sector D officers, Kristen Candelaria and Kevin Sheehan, pulled Ravon Service over at about 4 p.m. on Nov. 27 along Woodhaven Blvd for having an excessively loud exhaust system. The two officers “observed an emaciated Great Dane and several puppies in a container with no access to food, water or adequate space” according to the NYPD. Service was charged with: eight counts of torture, injury or failure to feed an animal; eight counts of neglect of an impounded animal and seven counts of carrying an animal in a cruel manner as well as a summons for unreasonable noise. The perp was also connected to a prior animal cruelty case which resulted in an assault on his Brooklyn landlord. Thanks, Sector D, for getting this guy off the streets.
