President Trump’s administration conducted their first national raid of illegal immigrants, deporting hundreds of people including 41 from New York City and surrounding areas – including seven from Queens – infuriating progressive politicians.

City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito stated in her ‘State of the City’ that she intends to defy federal immigration agents and Councilwoman Crowley said to the Queens Tribune that she considers it her job to protect the immigrant community from deportations.

“New York has always persevered, no matter the obstacle,” Mark-Viverito said in her State of the City address declaring that government officials will not be complying with immigration agents. “Whether defying a king in England or a president in Washington, we stand up for what is right.”

While politicians have enjoyed grandstanding against Trump, even using him as a foil for their re-election campaigns, they never seem to want to discuss who he’s deporting.

Federal officials released the information of all 41 illegals deported from New York City and the surrounding counties in the February 17th raid.

From Long Island, ICE officials deported 14 people:
• 31-year-old El Salvador national living in New Hyde Park with a criminal conviction for assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering and self-admitted MS-13 gang member.
• 34-year-old El Salvador national was arrested in Hempstead with a conviction of endangering the welfare of a child arrested.
• 56-year-old El Salvador national was arrested in Riverhead, convicted of robbery.
• 25-year-old Trinidad national convicted of robbery was arrested in Roosevelt.
• 31-year-old Honduras national convicted of larceny was arrested in Island Park.
• 27-year-old El Salvador national with a conviction of burglary. He was arrested in Bayshore.
• 46-year-old El Salvador national arrested in Elmont with a conviction of cocaine possession.
• 44-year-old previously removed El Salvador national with a conviction of police obstruction.
• 35-year-old previously-removed El Salvador national was arrested in Hempstead convicted of driving under the influence.
• 26-year-old previously-removed Guatemala national was arrested in Riverhead with a conviction for driving under the influence.
• 36-year-old El Salvador national with a conviction of driving under the influence. He was arrested in Copiague.
• 40-year-old El Salvador national with a conviction of driving under the influence was arrested in Brentwood.
• 41-year-old El Salvador national was arrested in Wyandanch with a conviction of driving under the influence.
• 36-year-old El Salvador national with a conviction of driving under the influence. He was arrested in Brentwood.
From the Bronx, ICE deported six people:
• 49-year-old Jamaican national with a criminal conviction for first-degree sexual assault of a victim under the age of 11, convicted of sexual assault carnal abuse.
• 29-year-old Guatemalan national convicted of rape.
• 54-year-old Guinea national convicted of sexual assault carnal abuse.
• 41-year-old previously removed Dominican Republic national convicted of cocaine sale.
• 38-year-old previously removed Dominican Republic national convicted of drug possession.
• 40-year-old Mexican national with a conviction of invasion of privacy.
From Staten Island, ICE deported two people:
• 60-year-old Mexican national with a criminal convicted for first degree sexual assault of a victim under the age of 11 and endangering the welfare of a child.
• 40-year-old Mexican national with a conviction of assault.
From Queens, ICE deported seven people:
• 23-year-old Guyana national with a conviction of rape, arrested in Richmond Hill.
• 30-year-old El Salvador national with a conviction of rape, he was apprehended in Jamaica.
• 51-year-old El Salvador national was arrested in College Point with a conviction of a sex offense against a child.
• 38-year-old Ecuador national with a conviction of sexual assault carnal abuse arrested Jackson Heights.
• 34-year-old El Salvador national was arrested in College Point with a conviction of a sex offense.
• 29-year-old Mexican national convicted of family neglect arrested in Elmhurst.
• 57-year-old Trinidad national with a conviction of driving under the influence. He was arrested in Richmond Hill.
From Manhattan, ICE deported four people:
• 43-year-old Mexican national with a conviction of sexual assault carnal abuse.
• 30-year-old Ecuador national convicted of sexual assault.
• 35-year-old Mexican national with a conviction of a sex offense.
• 54-year-old Guatemalan national with convictions of driving under the influence/Human Rights Violator.
• 33-year-old previously-removed Mexican national. He will be prosecuted federally by the U.S. Attorney's Office in New York for re-entry after deportation.
From Westchester and the Hudson Valley they deported five illegal aliens:
• 30-year-old Honduras national with a conviction of assault. She was arrested in Monroe.
• 28-year-old Guatemala national convicted of driving under the influence was arrested in Brewster.
• 52-year-old Mexican national with a conviction of driving under the influence. He was arrested in Suffern.
• 35-year-old Honduras national who is considered a fugitive with a final order of removal was arrested in Newburgh.
From Brooklyn they deported three:
• 30-year-old previously removed Mexican national convicted of robbery.
• 44-year-old Colombia national with a conviction of conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
• 25-year-old Ecuador national who was considered a fugitive with a final order of removal.

Drug dealers, drunk drivers, fugitives from the law, convicted child molesters, human rights violators, and rapists – these are the people the City Council Speaker and Council Member Crowley are determined to protect at any cost to New York City residents.
