Dear Community Stakeholder:
As a result of track renewal there will be no M-train between Myrtle Ave-Broadway and Middle Village – Metropolitan Avenue over 8 consecutive weekends, beginning on the weekend of Friday, May 19th and concluding over the weekend of July 8th. The service changes will begin each weekend starting on Fridays at 9:45 pm and continue through 5 am on the following Monday, except for Memorial Day when the changes will last until 5 am on Tuesday the 30th.
During this time, free M90 shuttle buses make stops between Middle Village-Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av (Broadway).
J trains will also provide service between Myrtle Av (Broadway) and Delancey St-Essex St. Transfer between J trains and Shuttle Bus buses at Myrtle Av.
When exiting at Myrtle Av or Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs, get a GO ticket for re-entry into the subway.
Additionally, a crane will be required between the Forest Ave & Fresh Pond Road Stations, on the Myrtle Ave Line, in the borough of Queens scheduled for (3) consecutive weekends, commencing on Friday, May 19th, 2023, and ending on Monday, June 5th, 2023. Scheduled working hours will be as follows: 06:00-16:00 hours on Fridays for preparatory work which consists of, but not limited to the staging of Street Cranes, Track Panels and related materials at the Crane sites listed below, and 05:00-21:00 hours on Saturdays and Sundays, for track removal and installation.
