An 18-year-old Hispanic male walked into the Centers Urgent Care on Fresh Pond Road with a gunshot wound to his chest on April 24th. His companions drove him there in a white SUV with Texas plates. Concurrently, police from the 108th Precinct responded to a 911 call of a man shot at 41-07 47th Avenue in Sunnyside. These two events are believed to be connected. No arrests have been made. A word of advice: Seek treatment at a hospital if you get shot because urgent care doesn’t treat gunshot wounds.
