Kind of funny that they think there would be a capacity issue. Anyway, a report is coming asking that no drivers be on board. Basically, no personnel at all. Sounds safe. 🙄 ... See MoreSee Less

Isn't the DC Metro fully automated?

Safe for the MTA staff!

Not against automation

Has anyone given any thought to the number of homes that will be taken if this actually happens.

Fix the crumbling infrastructure first! Nobody wants this! How about a new Trauma center? Safer and cleaner streets etc. Let us not forget about the major flooding issues all over Queens every time it rains..

So a driverless train operating 24 hours a day between a bad area in Brooklyn and a bad area in Queens. What could possibly go wrong?

Believe that and I’m sure you believe property taxes will go down.

It will never happen please call TWU local 100 on this, it's only a report nothing has been determined yet .Union president John Chiarello or John Samuelson the International president you’ll get answers or ask them to come visit!

With all the neighborhoods this will run through, they dont want operators? I can imagine what it will look like after a month.

I want my horse and baggy days back again. We should be farming these fertile lands of Hudson rather than letting all the people live here. Bring back farming to five boroughs.

The new homeless express coming to your neighborhood

Vote Hochul out next week Vote red and No! IBX needs to stop! Worst idea destroying the neighborhood!

This is DOA. TWU Local 100 would never allow this

They want to offer the meeting t0 the most people. They have equipment to allow the meeting to be hybrid - people can join on-line. Maybe the library cannot offer the same. And, it's Glendale, not Ridgewood where the meeting will be.

I think it is the Ridgewood library branch that is going to close for 2 years for renovations

Looks like there is hope to curtail City of Yes.

The community council should have a say before developers start a project. I’m sure the building on 79 st in Middle Village in the block of st Margaret was rushed thru. That block is right off metropolitan Av with one and two family homes. In fact it is adjacent to a small one family home. It is an eyesore and doesn’t fit in with the block. Parking is now more than ever a nightmare. Development has to be mindful of neighborhood integrity. We moved into a neighborhood with one and two family homes homes for a reason. Development has to be mindful of that.

Good luck, The City of Yes poses an existential threat to neighborhoods like Middle Village

We do not want City of Yes. Please save our neighborhoods.
