An opossum found its way into the 104th Precinct stationhouse on December 2nd and made itself at home. The marsupial was first spotted by Officer Charlie Sadler in a supply closet in the basement of the building. The animal appeared to be more scared than dangerous. Although the generally long-winded Sadler joked that he would “try to talk it to death” he ended up contacting the NYPD's Emergency Service Unit and 2 officers responded with poles to safely capture and relocate the critter.
