The mayor moved City Hall to Borough Hall in July, in what was an obvious Election Year stunt. De Blasio has basically ignored Queens unless he needed a place to dump a homeless shelter for the past 4 years. He didn't even campaign much here when he was running for Public Advocate or for his first mayoral run. But he brought his entourage to Queens Borough Hall and then took his show on the road, visiting neighborhoods he wasn't that familiar with. That strategy backfired when he met fed up constituent Vickie Paladino and his Whitestone photo op went viral for all the wrong reasons.
