In December 2014, Council Member Elizabeth Crowley made a promotional video for her district which included the following statement: “At Forest Park you can take a ride on the Muller Carousel, you can play golf at the famous golf course, you can even visit the Ridgewood Reservoir.”
This past January, she said the following to the Times Ledger newspaper: “Forest Park is over 500 acres with many different attractions, from the Ridgewood Reservoir to the bandshell to the carousel.” The Ridgewood Reservoir is in Highland Park, which itself is more than 100 acres. Forest Park and Highland Park have several large cemeteries situated between them. How is a council member in office for almost 8 years not familiar with the geography of her district?
