Harry Egg, bartender, of 75 Firth Avenue, Maspeth, and Mae Belsky, proprietress, 438 East Seventy-fifth Street, Manhattan, were arrested Tuesday night in a former saloon on Maurice Avenue at Newtown Avenue, Maspeth. The man is charged with illegal possession of stocks of whiskey, wine, and beer in violation of the Volstead act. Patrolman Gallagher made the arrests. – Newtown Register, August 7, 1926
