Charged with perjury and bigamy, Theodore J. Wagner, 38, of 57-52 65th St, Maspeth, a trolley motorman, yesterday was held by Magistrate Nicholas H. Pinto in Queens Felony Court on $1,500 bail for the grand jury.
Mrs. Caroline C. Wagner of 869 Whitlock Ave., The Bronx, said in her bigamy complaint that she married Wagner in Manhattan in 1924 and he disappeared several years later. Mrs. Wagner said she learned recently that Wagner married Frances D. Komp, of 230 w. 108th St., Manhattan, in 1932, and married Florence McIntyre of the Maspeth address in Queens on April 13, 1939.
In the perjury complaint Detective James Lynch of the Main Office Division, Queens, charged that Wagner, in getting the marriage license for the 1939 ceremony, swore he had never been married before.
