76-year-old Woodside resident Ivan Trdoslavic was arrested in late October after action by an off-duty police officer who allegedly observed him selling a gun at the corner of 74th Street and 52nd Avenue in Maspeth. The unnamed officer grabbed the suspect and alerted officers from the 104th Precinct to the scene. The potential gun purchaser escaped. Trdoslavic was arrested by Officer Gutierrez and charged with criminal sale and criminal possession of a firearm.
