For 35 years Joe Saracino has adopted the railroad bridge and surrounding area on Juniper Blvd South and 69th Place, sweeping and painting over graffiti. Joe said that when he moved here he tried to get the railroad or the Dept of Sanitation to clean it but they balked. So he does it himself. “I live here and it’s either I clean it myself or look at garbage all day,” said Joe. “He is what makes our neighborhood so great,” said Bob Holden.
