Bioswales were installed this spring throughout the area, but many are not planted, and they are filling with junk. The whole purpose of these gardens is for them to soak up rain to prevent sewers from being overwhelmed, but they certainly won’t be doing that in their current condition. We are making a list of derelict bioswales to be addressed, so please let us know of any in your area.
