As you have likely noticed, there is an effort underway to reconstruct corners and install pedestrian ramps for safety throughout the area. Things went a bit awry at the intersection of Penelope Ave and 75th Place. The contractor did a fine job of paving the sidewalk and installing the ramps, however, they replaced a USPS relay mailbox not at the curb where it had been originally, but in the middle of the sidewalk. So while we have more accessibility at the corner, we have less down the middle of the walkway. Rather dumb.
