As we are all aware, the M train only has one stop in Middle Village. After it leaves Metropolitan Avenue, the rest of its Queens route is high above Ridgewood. Walking below the el is a bit of a horror show. The following is regularly found: dumping of trash, overgrown weeds, broken sidewalks, exposed trolley tracks, illegally parked cars and homeless encampments. There's also quite a bit of empty space that could be used to help alleviate Ridgewood's parking problem or to locate a car or bike share program. When will our elected officials get a grip and take care of this mile-long eyesore that has festered for years?
