NYC DOT implemented bus priority improvements on Fresh Pond Road from Metropolitan Avenue to 67th Avenue this past August:

• Installation of a dedicated bus lane (Mon.-Fri., 3-7pm) on southbound Fresh Pond Road between Bleecker Street and Putnam Avenue to speed up the Q58, QM24, QM25, and QM34 buses
• Addition of metered parking to some side streets along Fresh Pond Road
• Resurface Fresh Pond Road between Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle Avenue
• Consolidation of local bus stops to speed bus service and restore parking to commercial corridor
• Addition of truck loading zones to facilitate deliveries
