On June 25th, an official groundbreaking took place for the Home Depot located at Maurice Ave just south of the LIE. A July 19th news release from Aurora Contractors stated the following, “This is a 312,000 SF multi-level Home Depot, located on 6 acres in Maspeth, NY. The project features roof-top parking and a 14,000 SF garden center. The project includes redevelopment of the entire site as well as preparing multiple outparcel pads.” AmazonFresh grocery service is operating out of one of the site’s buildings along 58 St.
