Health inspectors are ready to pounce on businesses who can’t keep up with the city and state’s ever changing COVID rules. Here are some regulations local businesses have been fined over: using a notebook to write down customers’ temperatures and information for contact tracing instead of official city forms that contain the same info, a paper displayed indicating maximum capacity at 25%, not having the “right” thermometer and not having six-foot social distance markers on the floor. One would think with all the businesses have gone through, warnings and instructions would be provided first.
