With diverse appetites and an eye for new cuisines, Middle Villagers have always welcomed various eateries and the latest comes to us from the Philippines. Husband and wife Prince and Phillis Torre have opened Chick’n Rotonda.

Taking after his grandfather who was also a chef, Prince began with a Work-Study course at the Institute of Culinary Education in 2007 and from fast food chains worked his way to Executive Chef for LaGuardia Plaza Hotel. He ventured off on his own, and after his first restaurant “Filipino BBQ” in Elmhurst, he opened his second establishment here in Middle Village.

So if you want to try a new flavor-style of delicious roasted chicken or pork with homemade fries and foods that are generally not hot and spicy, swing on by to Chick’n Rotonda. And do not leave without a tasty Ube-Coconut dessert bar.
