Klea TheoharisI’d like to know what is meant by “partial acquisition” of private property and, by law, what is the minimum distance mandate between someone’s home and the actual train tracks. Might some people have trains running 20 feet from their homes???

Susan SteinsThey did say we can now get to the number 7, LIRR in Woodside, and to parts of Brooklyn that don't require 2-3 trains, going thru Manhattan.

Daniel PryorExactly, never give up, never give in. I remember when they wanted to widen Eliot Avenue for truck traffic. Turn Met Food in a Chinese school. All of those beautiful old homes torn down for multifamily homes. We don’t need a train to bring more people in. Leave our neighborhood alone.
