A message was sent to all NYPD with the sentencing of Sgt Durant. The judge even made a point of highlighting that fact. Please advise your members if they do their job they may be fired, all support and medical benefits for their families gone, separation from their families, and incarcerated for 3-9 years. Heed the warning. Think 3x before engaging with a perpetrator. Also, if an illegal alien father murders someone he may be released into society well before Sgt Duran and even if not his family will still be getting medical benefits and govt assistance? In my opinion.
